About the Role:
As Business Unit Manager of the Indiana business unit, you’ll have full operational and financial responsibility. You’ll lead a team of estimators, project managers, superintendents, and sales professionals, overseeing projects from bid to build-out. You’ll scale operations, drive EBITDA, develop strategic plans, and maintain the culture of excellence that defines Nations Roof.
This role is ideal for a visionary leader who understands how to scale a division, pivot with market shifts, and deliver on both financial and customer service goals—while maintaining the highest standards in safety, quality, and execution.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead Division Growth: Own the business strategy, market expansion, and sales development for your region.
- Financial Oversight: Full P&L accountability—drive revenue, manage budgets, and report performance directly to senior leadership.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and empower cross-functional teams across operations, sales, estimating, and service.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery that meets quality and safety benchmarks.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate new and existing client relationships while leading high-stakes negotiations and partnerships.
- Process Optimization: Introduce technology and process improvements to streamline workflows, enhance margin, and enable scale.
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Has proven success in senior leadership within commercial construction, ideally with roofing exposure.
- Brings strong financial acumen—skilled in P&L, forecasting, bid work, cost controls, and market analysis.
- Knows how to scale teams and processes in a high-growth environment.
- Can balance strategic vision with operational execution.
- Excels in fast-paced, evolving markets—capable of pivoting quickly with clear action plans.
- Understands construction technology and project management platforms like Procore, Bluebeam, or similar.
Preferred Background:
- 8+ years of experience in Commercial Roofing, required.
- Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience leading distributed teams or managing multi-location operations is highly preferred.
- Track record of leading successful, profitable construction divisions or business units.
